Our take on the CuddleCloud Weighted Blanket

The CuddleCloud is a hand-knitted cotton weighted blanket, 74 by 45 inches, sized as an oversized throw for one adult. It is made for winding down and everyday lounging, and it is spot clean only, so it needs more care than a washable blanket. At $199 at ModeSens as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare it against.

Best forAdults who want weight on the couch or bed while reading or watching TVShoppers who prefer a knitted cotton look over a quilted coverOne-person use on a sofa or a full or queen bedA Christmas gift for an adult

Pros

Hand-knitted cotton cover looks softer and more like a throw than most quilted weighted blankets
Oversized 74 by 45 inch shape drapes over an adult rather than sitting like a lap pad
Heavyweight build gives the deep-pressure feel the blanket is sold for
Cotton is breathable compared with synthetic minky covers

Cons

Spot clean only and no ironing, so spills and pet hair are hard to deal with
Hand-knitted cotton can snag and stretch with heavy use
One size only, with no weight options listed
At $199 it is priced above many mass-market weighted blankets
