Our take on the CYQBD Slim Laundry Hamper with Lid

The CYQBD Slim Laundry Hamper with Lid is a narrow upright hamper built to slide into tight spots like the gap beside a washer, a closet corner or a bathroom wall. It collapses flat when empty, and the lid hides the load from view. At 1 inch deep when folded and under 3 lb, it is easy to store and carry. It is a small-space organizer rather than a heavy-duty family bin.

Questions and answers

Is this hamper good for a family?
Probably not. The slim body holds roughly one person's weekly laundry. Families usually need a larger or multi-bin setup.
How small is it when collapsed?
It folds to about 1 inch deep, so it can slide behind a door or under a bed. That makes it handy for dorms and small apartments.
Does the lid keep odors in?
Only partly. The lid covers the load, but it is a light fabric lid without a seal, so smells still escape over time.
Can it hold wet towels?
It is best for dry or lightly damp laundry. Soaking wet items can weaken the fabric and cause mildew inside a lidded bin.
What is in the box?
The hamper and its lid. It arrives folded and needs no tools to set up.
When is it cheapest?
Collapsible hampers like this tend to dip during back-to-school and dorm move-in sales and around January organization promotions. Check the price history before buying.
