- Is $8.99 a good price for this 3-pack?
- It is the lowest of the five stores listing it new, at $8.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026. That works out to about $3 per candle, which is cheap for remote-controlled flickering pillars.
- What batteries do these candles take?
- Flameless pillar candles of this type usually take AA or AAA cells, often three per candle, and batteries are typically not included. Check the listing's battery count before buying, since the remote also needs its own cell.
- Can one remote control all three candles?
- Yes. A single remote normally pairs with all the candles in the pack, so you can switch them on and off together or set the flicker mode from one place.
- Are they safe to leave on unattended?
- They give off no heat and have no flame, so they are far safer than real candles around curtains, pets and children. Still turn them off when you leave the room to save battery.
- Will they look real in daylight?
- They read as convincing in dim rooms and at a distance, but the ivory plastic shell and steady repeating flicker can give them away up close in bright light.
- Can I use them outdoors?
- They are sold for indoor and outdoor decor, but they are not waterproof. Keep them under a covered porch or away from rain and sprinklers.
