Is the Dangbei Atom worth it over a 4K projector?

If you mostly stream 1080p and want a small, easy-to-move projector, the Atom is a sensible pick. A 4K model costs more and is usually larger and heavier.

How big an image can it throw?

Up to 180 inches diagonally. For a sharp, bright picture, most rooms work best around 80 to 120 inches.

Does it need a streaming stick?

No. Google TV is built in, so you sign in to your apps directly on the projector.

Can I use it in a lit room?

It handles dim rooms well. In full daylight or with lamps on, the image will look washed out, so draw the curtains for movies.

Yes, it is 3D ready. You still need compatible 3D glasses and 3D content.

Projectors like this tend to drop during major sales events and around back-to-school. Check the price history chart before buying.
