Is the Danolapsi washable rug actually 8x10?

The listing is contradictory. It labels the rug 8' x 10' but the spec line reads 5' x 7' (152 x 213 cm). Measure your space and confirm the size with the seller before buying.

Can it really go in a washing machine?

Yes, the maker says to wash it on cold with gentle detergent. A 5' x 7' rug needs a large-capacity or commercial machine; an 8' x 10' likely will not fit a home washer.

Will it fit under a door?

At 0.24 inches it is about coin height, so it should clear most interior doors and slide under sofas and desks. Check your door's clearance if it already drags on the floor.

Does it stay put on hardwood?

It has a TPR non-slip backing, which the maker says grips hardwood, tile and carpet. Very smooth or freshly polished floors may still let it shift.

Is it soft enough for a living room?

It is polyester low-pile, so it feels soft but thin. It suits high-traffic areas and barefoot use, but it is not a plush rug for lounging on the floor.

When is the best time to buy it?

No price history was provided, so there is no reliable cheapest period to point to. Compare the current price across stores before ordering.
