Questions and answers

Is this rug really 8x10?: The name says 8x10, but the specs list the rug size as 4 ft. Check the dimensions on the listing before you buy, since the two don't match.
Can it go in a washing machine?: Yes, it is listed as washable and easy care. A shag rug this size may not fit a standard home washer, so check the machine's drum capacity first.
Does it need a rug pad?: No. It has a non-slip backing, so it should stay put on hard floors without a separate pad.
What colors does it come in?: Black, brown, pink and a colorful mix. All use the checkered pattern.
Is a shag rug good for pets?: It is soft, but shag pile holds pet hair and debris. The washable build helps, but expect more vacuuming than with a flat-weave rug.
