How long does RapidFuse take to set?

It sets in about 30 minutes and reaches full strength in 24 hours. Clamp or hold the joint during the initial set.

Is it waterproof enough for outdoor use?

DAP lists it for outdoor use, so it handles weather and moisture better than plain craft glue. For constant water contact, a marine-grade adhesive is safer.

What is the 6-pack best for?

It suits people with several small repairs or craft projects, since each tube is only 0.56 fl oz. For one large job, a bigger single tube is more economical.

Does it work on metal?

Yes, metal is one of its listed materials. Clean and lightly roughen the surface first for the best grip.

When is the best time to buy the 6-pack?

Multi-packs usually drop in price during hardware sales and back-to-school events. Compare the per-ounce price against single tubes before buying.

Our take on the DAP RapidFuse Multipurpose Adhesive 0.56 fl oz 6-Pack

DAP RapidFuse is a clear, fast-curing liquid adhesive that bonds metal, wood, ceramic, plastic and most other common materials, indoors and out. This listing is a 6-pack of 0.56 fl oz tubes, a size aimed at small repairs and craft work rather than large projects. RapidFuse sets in about 30 minutes and reaches full strength in 24 hours, which is quicker than standard wood glue or silicone.
