Is the Dell 15 good for gaming?

No. It uses Intel UHD integrated graphics, which handles older or lightweight titles at low settings but not modern games. Look for a model with a dedicated GPU if gaming matters.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

The 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD is the easy upgrade path, and many Dell 15 models have a free M.2 slot. Memory is one 16GB DDR4 3200 stick, so adding a second module is the way to reach 32GB.

Is the 120Hz screen worth it?

Yes for everyday use. The 120Hz refresh makes scrolling and cursor movement smoother, though the 250-nit brightness and FHD resolution are ordinary rather than impressive.

How long does the battery last?

The 54Whr battery is on the small side for a 15.6-inch laptop. Expect roughly a full workday of light office use and less with video or heavy browsing; the 65W adapter recharges it fairly quickly.

What comes in the box?

The laptop and a 65W AC adapter. No mouse or sleeve is included, so budget for those separately.

When is the Dell 15 cheapest?

Dell 15 prices tend to drop during back-to-school, Black Friday, and end-of-quarter sales. Check the price history before buying to see whether the current price is near its low.

Our take on the Dell 15

The Dell 15 is a mainstream 15.6-inch laptop built around an FHD 120Hz anti-glare display, a 16GB DDR4 configuration, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. It runs on Intel UHD integrated graphics, so it is meant for everyday work, study, and streaming rather than gaming or heavy creative work. At 3.57 lb with a 54Whr battery, it is a desk-first machine that can travel when needed. The 250-nit panel is dimmer than premium laptops, so expect it to struggle in bright rooms or outdoors.
