Our take on the Dell Inspiron 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop Intel Core i3 I3593-3992BLK-PUS

The Dell Inspiron I3593-3992BLK-PUS is a 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop with an Intel Core i3, 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB solid-state drive. It is a basic, budget machine: the screen is 1366 x 768 and the processor is a low-power dual-core, so it handles browsing, email and documents rather than heavy work. At $459.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, and only two stores list it new.

Questions and answers

Is the Dell Inspiron i3 touch laptop worth it at $459.99?
Only if you need a touchscreen and do light work. At $459.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is at the top of its recent range, and many non-touch budget laptops at that price are faster.
Is the 128 GB drive enough?
For documents, email and streaming, yes. Windows and updates take a chunk of it, so plan on cloud storage or an external drive for photos and video.
Can I upgrade the RAM and storage?
Dell lists maximum supported RAM at 16 GB, so a jump from 8 GB is possible. The 128 GB SSD can be swapped for a larger one, but both upgrades need some comfort opening a laptop.
Does it have a backlit keyboard or USB-C?
The listed ports are HDMI and Ethernet, with no USB-C or backlit keyboard mentioned. Check the exact configuration before buying if either matters to you.
