Is the Latitude 5300 2-in-1 still worth buying in 2026?

For basic office work, web browsing and note-taking, yes at $299. The 16 GB of RAM and SSD keep it usable. Skip it if you need long battery life or modern CPU performance.

Does it come with a stylus?

Dell sold an optional active pen for this model, and it is not always included with used units. Confirm with the seller before buying if you plan to write or draw.

Can I upgrade the RAM or storage?

The SSD is replaceable, so you can move to a larger drive. RAM is soldered on this model, so buy the 16 GB version rather than planning an upgrade.

How does it compare to the Latitude 5310 2-in-1?

The 5310 uses 10th-gen Intel chips and is a bit faster and more efficient. The 5300 is cheaper and fine for light work, but the newer model is the better pick if the price gap is small.

Expect the laptop and a charger only. Used business laptops rarely include a pen, manuals or original packaging.

Prices on older business laptops drift down over time and spike when stock is scarce. At $299 as of November 3, 2026, it is already near the bottom of its range.

Our take on the Dell Latitude 5300 2-in-1 Laptop

The Latitude 5300 2-in-1 is Dell's business-grade 13-inch convertible, with a 360-degree hinge, touchscreen and pen support. This configuration pairs an 8th-gen Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM and a 250 GB SSD, running Windows 11 Pro. It is a refurbished-era machine now: the CPU is several generations old, but the build, ports and RAM hold up for office work. At $299 at Peachtree Computers as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this model sells for.
