Is the two-pack worth it over buying one monitor?

If you want a dual-screen setup, the two-pack covers it in one purchase. A single-screen buyer is better off with one unit.

Does it work with a Mac or Windows laptop?

Yes. It takes a standard video signal over its connection and supports HDCP 1.4. Check that your laptop has a compatible port or use an adapter.

Does it have speakers or a headphone jack?

No. There are no built-in speakers, so plan on using your laptop's audio or separate speakers.

It uses an external power adapter. It draws about 5.4 W typical and 7 W maximum, so it is light on power but not fully bus-powered.

Is it good for gaming?

Not really. The 60 Hz refresh rate and lack of variable refresh make it a work monitor, not a gaming one.

Is the screen readable outdoors or near a window?

The 400-nit brightness and anti-glare finish help, but it is not a high-brightness outdoor display.
