Our take on the De'Longhi Nespresso Gran Lattissima Espresso Machine

The Gran Lattissima is De'Longhi's top-tier Nespresso Vertuo machine, built around a 44 fl oz tank and a one-touch milk system with a removable carafe. It brews espresso and larger coffee sizes from Vertuo pods and finishes drinks like lattes and cappuccinos automatically. At $327.12 at eBay as of November 8, 2026, it sits near the low end of its recent range, well under its typical $400-plus pricing.

Questions and answers

Is the Gran Lattissima worth it over a basic Vertuo machine?
If you drink lattes or cappuccinos often, the built-in milk carafe saves buying a separate frother and a step per drink. For black coffee only, a cheaper Vertuo model does the same job.
What pods does it take?
It uses Nespresso Vertuo pods only, including espresso, double espresso, gran lungo and mug sizes. Original-line capsules do not fit.
Is $327.12 a good price?
It is near the low end of its recent range and below its usual $400-plus pricing. That is a fair deal if you want the milk system.
How much maintenance does the milk carafe need?
Rinse the carafe after each milk drink and wash its parts by hand regularly. The machine runs an automatic rinse cycle, but it does not replace washing.
How many cups can the 44 fl oz tank make?
Roughly 8 to 10 espresso or coffee drinks before a refill, fewer if you make large milk drinks.
Does it come with a milk carafe and starter pods?
Retail boxes typically include the removable milk carafe and a starter set of Vertuo pods. Check the listing's box contents before buying.
Where is the De'Longhi Nespresso Gran Lattissima Espresso Machine cheapest?
At Walmart, for $479.00, 17% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the De'Longhi Nespresso Gran Lattissima Espresso Machine?
Rated 3 out of 5 from 26 ratings.
Where can I buy the De'Longhi Nespresso Gran Lattissima Espresso Machine?
12 stores we checked sell it, including Best Buy, Walmart, Nordstrom, DeLonghi, eBay.
