Can the Denix 1120 M1 Carbine replica fire?

No. It is a non-firing display replica with an inert action and cannot chamber or shoot ammunition.

Is it legal to own without a license?

In most US states a non-firing replica needs no license, but check local rules, since some cities and countries restrict replica firearms.

How big and heavy is it?

It is a full-size M1 Carbine replica weighing about 8 lbs, so plan a sturdy wall mount or a display case.

For a metal display carbine, yes, if you want the look and weight on a shelf. Skip it if you expect a working action or fine collector-grade finish.

How does it compare with a real surplus M1 Carbine?

A real surplus carbine costs far more and requires transfer paperwork. The Denix gives the silhouette and heft without the function or the legal steps.

Our take on the Denix 1120 M1 Carbine .30 Caliber Replica

The Denix 1120 is a non-firing metal replica of the US M1 Carbine, built for collectors and display rather than shooting. It reproduces the carbine's outline in metal at roughly 8 lbs, so it feels substantial on a wall or in a case. At $253.03 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is the lower of the two new prices tracked, with the other store pricing it higher.
