Our take on the DeWalt 15 Amp Corded 8-1/4 in. Compact Jobsite Table Saw with Stand

The DeWalt 15 Amp Corded 8-1/4 in. Compact Jobsite Table Saw is a benchtop saw built for framing and trim work, with a rack-and-pinion fence and a folding stand included. Its 8-1/4 in. blade and compact top make it easier to carry and store than a full 10 in. contractor saw. At $531 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent range, so there is no discount to chase right now.

Pros
  • Folding stand is included, so no separate purchase
  • Rack-and-pinion fence stays square and adjusts quickly
  • 8-1/4 in. blade keeps the unit light and easy to move
  • 15 Amp motor handles dimensional lumber and sheet goods
  • Blade guard and riving knife ship with the saw
Cons
  • 8-1/4 in. blade limits depth of cut versus a 10 in. saw
  • Dado stacks are not supported
  • Small table needs support for long or wide stock
  • At $531 it is near its high price, not a deal
  • Dust collection is basic without a shop vac attached

Questions and answers

Is this saw worth $531?
It is a solid jobsite saw, but $531 at Home Depot as of November 3, 2026 is near the top of its recent range. If you need it now, the included stand and accurate fence justify the price; otherwise wait for a sale.
How does it compare with a 10 in. table saw?
The 8-1/4 in. blade cuts shallower than a 10 in. saw, so thick stock and dado work are limited. In exchange, it is lighter and easier to move, which matters more on jobsites than in a fixed shop.
Does it come with a stand?
Yes. The folding jobsite stand is included, along with the blade, blade guard, riving knife and miter gauge. You supply the shop vac for dust collection.
Can I use a dado stack on it?
No. The saw is not set up for dado stacks, so grooves and rabbets need a router or a different saw.
When is it cheapest?
DeWalt jobsite saws tend to drop during spring contractor promotions and Black Friday. At $531 as of November 3, 2026, it is not at a low point.
