Questions and answers

Is this kit worth it over buying tools separately?
Usually yes if you need three or more of the included tools. Buying bare tools plus batteries and a charger separately often costs more than the kit price.
What tools are in the box?
DeWalt's 5-tool 20V MAX kits typically include a drill/driver, impact driver, reciprocating saw, circular saw and work light, plus batteries, a charger and a soft case. Confirm the exact tool list on the listing before buying.
Are the batteries compatible with other DeWalt 20V tools?
Yes. The 20V MAX batteries work across DeWalt's 20V MAX line, including bare tools sold separately.
How long do the batteries last?
Compact 20V MAX batteries typically run a drill or impact driver for light to moderate jobs and drain faster in the saws. Expect shorter runtime in the circular and reciprocating saws.
When is the best time to buy?
Combo kits usually drop around Black Friday and holiday sales. The lowest recent price was $279.00 on November 2, 2026, so waiting for a similar dip can save about $27.
Does it come with a charger?
Yes, DeWalt combo kits normally include a charger along with the batteries and soft case.
