- Is this drill good for drilling into concrete?
- Yes, for light work. Hammer mode and 1,650 IPM handle brick, block and small holes in concrete for anchors. For repeated large holes, a corded rotary hammer is faster.
- What is included in the DCD709C2 kit?
- The drill, two 20V MAX 2.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries, a DCB107 charger, a belt clip and a carrying bag.
- Does it use the same batteries as other DeWalt 20V tools?
- Yes. It runs on any DeWalt 20V MAX battery, so larger packs fit and extend runtime.
- How does it compare with the full-size DeWalt hammer drill?
- It is shorter and lighter at 2.5 lbs, but its 340 UWO is below full-size models. Choose it for tight spaces and overhead work, not heavy concrete drilling.
- Is $199.99 a good price for this kit?
- It is the only new price listed, $199.99 at Tractor Supply Company as of November 6, 2026. Compare it with bare-tool prices plus a battery if you already own 20V packs.
- Does it have a clutch for driving screws?
- Yes. It has an adjustable clutch and two speed settings, so you can set torque for screws and switch to hammer mode for masonry.
