This is a DeWalt 20V MAX kit built around the ATOMIC line: a compact drill/driver and impact driver, plus a 12-inch cordless chainsaw. All three tools use brushless motors and share the same 20V MAX lithium-ion batteries, so one pack set covers drilling, driving and light tree work. The ATOMIC tools are the shorter, lighter end of DeWalt's 20V range, aimed at tight spaces and overhead work rather than heavy framing. The chainsaw is a 12-inch bar limb-and-branch saw, not a felling saw. Bundles like this usually cost less than buying the drill, impact driver and chainsaw separately, but pricing moves with promotions, so check the current price against the kit's recent range before buying.
Lowest price we've seen: $299.00 on Oct 31 at Home Depot. Tracked across 1 store since Oct 31.
Owners of DeWalt 20V ATOMIC tools generally rate the drill and impact driver highly for size and power, and the 12-inch chainsaw is well liked for light yard work. Complaints tend to focus on the small chainsaw bar and on kit batteries being smaller than expected.
