Is the DCS369P1 worth $454.58?

That price at Msc Industrial Supply as of November 7, 2026 buys a compact one-handed saw plus a 5.0Ah battery and charger. If you already own DeWalt 20V batteries, a bare tool usually makes more sense. With only one store listing it new, compare against other 20V recip saws before paying this.

How does it differ from DeWalt's full-size recip saws?

It is smaller and lighter at 3.13 lb with a 5/8-inch stroke, built for one-handed and close-quarter cuts. Full-size saws have longer strokes and cut thick wood and demolition debris faster. Pick this one for tight spaces, the bigger saw for heavy tear-out.

What comes in the box?

The kit includes the saw, one 20V Max 5.0Ah Li-Ion battery, a charger and a blade set. It does not include a case.

How long does the 5.0Ah battery last?

Runtime depends on the material. Expect a few dozen cuts in PVC or drywall and far fewer in thick lumber. For all-day work, plan on a second battery.

Does it take standard reciprocating saw blades?

Yes, it uses standard reciprocating saw blades with a conventional shank, so any brand of blade fits.

When is the best time to buy?

Cordless kit prices usually dip during holiday sales and DeWalt promotions. With a single new listing at $454.58 as of November 7, 2026, watch for a second seller or a bare-tool listing to appear.
