Does the DCS391B come with a battery?

No. It is a bare tool, so no battery or charger is included. You need a DeWalt 20V Max pack and charger.

What size blade does it take?

It uses a 6.5-inch blade with a 5/8-inch arbor. The maximum depth of cut is about 2-1/4 inches at 90 degrees.

Is it worth it over a corded saw?

If you already own DeWalt 20V batteries, yes: it is light and cuts framing lumber without a cord. For heavy daily cutting, a corded 7-1/4-inch saw gives more power and depth.

How does it compare with the DCS570?

The DCS570 is a 7-1/4-inch saw with more depth of cut and a stiffer base. The DCS391B is smaller and lighter for trim and lighter framing work.

Is $129 a good price?

At $129 at The Home Depot as of November 7, 2026, it is at the low end of its recent range across three stores. That is a fair price for the bare tool.

What comes in the box?

The saw, a 6.5-inch blade and a blade wrench. Battery, charger and case are not included.
