Is the DEWALT right angle attachment worth it?

Yes if you already own a DEWALT impact driver and occasionally need to drive screws in tight spots. It costs far less than a dedicated right-angle drill. Skip it if you need to drill holes or use it all day.

Does it fit any impact driver or only DEWALT?

It uses a standard 1/4-inch hex shank, so it fits most impact drivers and drills with a hex chuck. DEWALT lists it for its own impact drivers, and fit is most reliable there.

What bits does it take?

It takes standard 1-inch hex bit tips. The ring magnet holds the bit and the fastener, which helps when you can't see the screw head.

Can I use it for drilling, not just driving screws?

No. It is built for fasteners with 1-inch bit tips and is rated to 3,000 rpm. Use a proper right-angle drill for hole saws or twist bits.

The attachment itself with the ring magnet. Bits are not included, so buy 1-inch hex tips separately.

Only one store, eBay, listed it new at $24.99 as of November 4, 2026, so there is no price history to time a purchase against. Check back for other sellers before buying.

Our take on the DEWALT Right Angle Drill Attachment

A right-angle adapter that turns a DEWALT impact driver into a tool for driving fasteners in tight, awkward spots. It takes standard 1-inch hex bit tips, spins up to 3,000 rpm, and has a ring magnet to hold screws on the bit. The body is plastic and metal and weighs under half a pound. The best new price is $24.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no recent price range to compare against.
