Our take on the DJI Mic Wireless Microphone System

The DJI Mic is a two-transmitter, one-receiver wireless microphone kit for recording two people at once into a camera, phone or computer. Each transmitter has a built-in mic and a clip-on design, and the receiver stores and charges both in its case. It is a popular pick for vloggers, interviewers and podcasters who want cable-free audio without a pro sound bag. The best new price is $249.00 at B&H Photo-Video-Audio as of November 4, 2026, and only one store currently lists it new.

Questions and answers

Is the DJI Mic worth it for podcasting?
Yes, if you record two people and want a simple wireless setup. For a single host at a desk, a wired USB mic usually sounds better for less money.
How many people can it record at once?
Two. The kit has two transmitters and one receiver, so two speakers can be recorded on separate channels.
Does it work with a phone?
Yes. It connects to phones and cameras, and the box includes the adapters needed for common phone ports.
How long does the battery last?
Each transmitter runs for several hours on a charge, and the case tops them up between takes. Long shoots may need a mid-day recharge.
Is this the newer DJI Mic 2?
No. This is the original DJI Mic. The Mic 2 adds internal recording and a newer design, so compare prices if those features matter to you.
When is the best time to buy?
Wireless mic kits often drop during major sales events. At $249.00 at B&H Photo-Video-Audio as of November 4, 2026, only one store lists it new, so watch for restocks and sale periods.
Where is the DJI Mic Wireless Microphone System cheapest?
At B&H Photo-Video-Audio, for $249.00, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the DJI Mic Wireless Microphone System?
