Is the DJI Mini 5 Pro worth it over the Mini 4 Pro?

The Mini 5 Pro adds a 1-inch 50MP sensor, 4K/60fps HDR with up to 14 stops of dynamic range and 225-degree gimbal rotation. If low-light image quality matters, it is a clear step up; otherwise the older model still covers most flights.

What is included in the Fly More Combo?

The combo pairs the Mini 5 Pro drone with the RC2 screen controller plus extra batteries and accessories for longer flying sessions. Check the box list at the store before ordering.

How much does the Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo cost?

The best new price is $1,249.00 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026, and one store lists it new. Compare that against the base drone price before choosing the combo.

Does the Mini 5 Pro need a license to fly?

In the US, drones under 250g used for recreation generally do not need registration, but all flights still follow FAA rules. Commercial use requires Part 107 certification regardless of weight.

How much storage does the Mini 5 Pro have?

It has 42GB of internal storage, so footage can be saved without a memory card. A microSD card is still useful for longer shoots.

Is the Mini 5 Pro good in low light?

Yes. The 1-inch sensor, f/1.8 aperture and nightscape obstacle sensing are built for sunsets and night shots, and reviewers single out low-light quality as a strength.
