Does it work without the app?: The kit has pre-programmed sounds and kits, so it plays without the app. The lessons and games need the DONNER PLAY app on the touchscreen.
How loud is it for apartment practice?: It is a digital kit, so you play through headphones or an amp rather than hitting acoustic heads. Stick noise on the pads is the main sound neighbors may hear.
What cymbals are included?: The kit includes a 12-inch triple-zone cymbal listed as a crash. Check the full pad and cymbal count with the seller before buying if you need hi-hat and ride.
