Is the Yamaha DTX482K good for beginners?

Yes. It has a forgiving silicone snare, 10 preset kits and a stool and sticks included, so a new player can start without extra gear.

Can I practice quietly with this kit?

Yes. The pads are rubber and silicone rather than acoustic heads, and the headphone output lets you play without an amp.

Does the DTX482K work with double bass?

Not well. It has one KP65 kick pad and one FP6110A single pedal, so a double pedal would need a wider pad or a second pad.

How many sounds and kits does it have?

The DTX402 module has 287 drum and percussion sounds and 10 built-in drum kits.

The kit includes the pads, rack hardware, DTX402 module, KP65 kick pad, FP6110A single pedal, hi-hat controller, a stool and 5A wood-tip sticks.
