Our take on the DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress Twin

The DreamCloud Hybrid is a 12-inch mattress that combines a gel memory foam comfort layer with a pocketed innerspring support core. It is sold in six sizes from Twin to California King, and a 15-inch version is also offered. The Twin at $399 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026 is the entry point of the line; larger sizes cost more.

Pros
  • Gel memory foam top layer adds pressure relief
  • Pocketed coils give a bouncier, more supportive feel than all-foam
  • 12-inch profile fits standard sheets and frames
  • Available in six sizes, including Twin XL and California King
  • Twin price of $399 is low for a hybrid
Cons
  • No firmness options; one feel for everyone
  • Motion transfer is higher than on an all-foam bed
  • Heavier and harder to move than a foam-only mattress
  • Edge support is average for an innerspring hybrid
  • 15-inch version costs more and needs deeper sheets

Questions and answers

Is the DreamCloud Hybrid good for side sleepers?
The gel foam top cushions shoulders and hips, which suits side sleepers. Heavier side sleepers may want more give than the single firmness level offers.
How does it compare with the DreamCloud Premier?
The Premier adds a thicker foam layer and a taller profile for a plusher feel. The standard Hybrid is firmer and cheaper, and the Twin at $399 is the lowest entry into the line.
Do I need a box spring?
No. The pocketed coil core works on a slatted frame, platform bed or adjustable base. A box spring adds height but is not required.
What sizes and thicknesses are available?
It comes in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King. The standard model is 12 inches thick, and a 15-inch version is also sold.
When is the best time to buy?
Mattress prices move with holiday sales, and the Twin was $399 at Amazon as of November 4, 2026. Compare that figure against the recent range before buying.
Where is the DreamCloud Hybrid Mattress Twin cheapest?
At Amazon, for $399.00, as of our latest check.
