Our take on the Dreame R20 Pure Cordless Stick

The Dreame R20 Pure is a cordless stick vacuum with a 150AW brushless motor, a swappable 8-cell battery pack rated for up to 90 minutes, and a multi-surface brush with blue LEDs that light up dust in dark corners. It weighs 6 lb and holds just 0.16 gal, so it is built for quick whole-home passes rather than deep cleaning sessions. Its lowest recorded price is $149.99, seen on October 28, 2026, and the price has not moved off that level in the tracked history.

Questions and answers

Is the Dreame R20 Pure worth it at $149.99?
At $149.99 it is a strong value for 150AW suction and a swappable battery. That is the only price in its tracked history, so there is no cheaper level to wait for.
How does it compare with the previous Dreame vacuum?
Owners say the motor is more powerful yet quieter, and the brush light is a new aid. The trade-off is the wall mount, which no longer holds the vacuum elevated.
How long does the battery last?
Dreame rates the 8 x 2,500mAh pack at up to 90 minutes, which assumes Eco mode. Expect much shorter runs in Med and Turbo.
How big is the dust bin?
It holds 0.16 gal, which is small for a whole-home clean. Plan on emptying it several times per session, especially on carpet.
What comes in the box?
Main body, extension rod, illumination multi-surface brush, battery pack, flexible adapter and wall mount. A charger is not listed among the included items.
When is it cheapest?
The lowest recorded price is $149.99 on October 28, 2026, and the tracked price has stayed there. There is no seasonal dip in the data yet.
