Is the Duravit D-Neo tub a drop-in only?

Yes. It is a drop-in tub, so it needs a deck or surround that supports the rim. It is not designed as a freestanding tub.

What are the exterior dimensions?

It measures 60 inches long by 36 inches wide. Check your rough opening and deck framing against those figures before ordering.

What is the tub made of?

It is white acrylic. Acrylic is light and warm to the touch, but it flexes more and scratches more easily than cast iron or enameled steel.

Does it come with a drain or faucet?

The listed specs do not include a drain, overflow or faucet. Plan on buying those separately and confirm the required trim with the seller.

Is acrylic a good choice for a bathtub?

Acrylic is common because it is light and holds heat well. It is less rigid than cast iron, so make sure the tub is set on a properly supported base.

Our take on the Duravit D-Neo 36" Rectangular Drop-In Bathtub

The Duravit D-Neo is a 60-inch by 36-inch rectangular drop-in bathtub in white acrylic. It is a clean, straight-sided tub meant to be set into a deck or surround, so the rim and deck finish do the visual work. Acrylic keeps it light and warm to the touch, but it flexes more than cast iron or solid-surface tubs. No current price was given for this page, so compare its price against its own recent range before buying.
