Is the Dyna-Glo Wide Body smoker worth it?

For the space, yes: 1,890 square inches for $349 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026 is a lot of smoker per dollar. Budget for gasket tape and a better thermometer to fix the leaks and readings.

How much meat can it hold?

Six grates rated at 25 pounds each, so it can take several racks of ribs plus a couple of pork butts in one cook.

Does it hold temperature well?

It can, but the stock doors leak and the gauge is optimistic. Sealing the doors and using a separate probe thermometer makes it much steadier.

How long does a load of charcoal last?

The basket is small for the cabinet size. Expect roughly 4 to 6 hours per load at smoking temps, so refuel for brisket or overnight cooks.

What do I need to assemble it?

Basic hand tools and a second person. It weighs about 83 lb and the panels are easier to line up with help.

It has been priced near $349 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026, the low end of its recent range. Watch for end-of-season clearance on charcoal smokers.
