How big a room does the 158-inch version need?

Plan for at least 13 feet of clear width for the sofa itself, plus walking space. At 35 inches deep it also eats into the room more than a standard 38-inch-deep sofa would not, so measure before ordering.

Can the sections be separated?

Yes. It is modular, so the pieces can be pulled apart into a smaller sofa, a chaise and separate seats. Check that the pieces include connectors, since loose modules slide on wood and tile floors.

What is the difference between the fabric and chenille options?

Chenille has a softer, velvety hand and hides texture better; plain fabric is usually easier to spot-clean. Both come in gray, beige and green, and some versions offer a check pattern.

Is it good for a family with kids and pets?

The removable, rearrangeable covers help, but light beige and chenille show stains and pet hair quickly. Choose a darker gray or green and confirm the covers are washable before buying.

When is the best time to buy it?

Large sofas like this usually drop during holiday sales and end-of-season clearance. Check the price history to see whether the current listing is near its low.
