Is the DYU Folding Electric Bike worth it?

It fits a narrow use case: short, flat commutes where you fold it onto transit or stash it indoors. If you face hills or rough roads, a larger-wheel e-bike will ride better. Without current pricing, compare its price to similar 14-inch folding e-bikes before deciding.

How fast does it go and how far on a charge?

Top speed is 15.5 mph (25 km/h). Range is about 24 miles in pedal-assist mode and 18 miles on throttle alone. Real-world range drops with rider weight, hills, and cold weather.

Can it fit in a car trunk or on a train?

Yes. Folded size is about 46 x 8 x 28 inches, so it fits in most car trunks and is allowed on many trains and buses. At 17 kg, lifting it is manageable for most adults but not effortless.

What's the weight limit and rider height?

The bike supports up to 265 lbs (120 kg). It's designed for adults, but the low-slung frame and 14-inch wheels mean taller riders may feel cramped; check the seat and handlebar height against your own measurements.

Does it come with a warranty or need assembly?

Most DYU bikes ship mostly assembled, requiring handlebars, pedals, and maybe front wheel attachment. Warranty terms vary by seller; check the listing for the specific coverage before buying.

When is the best time to buy it?

Prices on folding e-bikes often dip during spring sales and Black Friday. Without current price history, we can't pinpoint a low point, so track the price for a few weeks before buying.
