Is the XKJ Electric Bike worth it?

It suits short trips and tight storage on a budget. If you need more than 20 miles per charge or a light bike to carry upstairs, look at larger-wheel e-bikes.

How fast does it go, and is it legal?

XKJ rates it at 20 mph, which keeps it in Class 1 territory in most US states. Check your local rules, since Class 1 usually means pedal-assist only with no throttle.

How long does the battery last and how long to charge?

XKJ claims up to 20 miles per charge and about 5 hours to recharge the 48 V 12 Ah pack. Real range drops with hills, rider weight and heavy pedal-assist use.

How big is it, and will it fit me?

It is a small 14-inch folding frame with a 270 lb max load. It suits teens and shorter adults better than tall riders.

What comes in the box?

Expect the bike, charger and basic tools; assembly is required. Confirm the exact contents with the seller before ordering.

Folding e-bikes like this tend to dip during spring sales and end-of-season clearance. Track the price history before buying.
