Questions and answers

Does Earth Animal Herbal Spot On actually kill fleas and ticks?
It is labeled for prevention of fleas and ticks, not for killing an active infestation. If your cat already has fleas, use a vet-recommended treatment and treat the home as well.
Is it safe for kittens and pregnant cats?
It is for cats 6 months and older. The label says not for pregnant or lactating animals, so ask your vet before using it on a nursing queen or a young kitten.
How often do I apply it, and how long does a pack last?
Apply once a month. One pack covers up to 3 months, which works out to about $3.33 a month at the $10.00 Treat Play Love price.
How does it compare with vet-prescribed flea products?
Vet products use synthetic actives with published kill and repel data. This one relies on peppermint and cedarwood oils, so expect prevention support rather than guaranteed flea elimination.
What is in the box?
You get the spot-on applicators for a 3-month supply. Check the pack size at checkout, since multi-cat homes may need more than one box.
When is the best time to buy it?
Flea season peaks in spring and summer, when prices tend to hold. The current $10.00 at Treat Play Love is already at the low end, so stocking up before spring is reasonable.
Where is the Earth Animal Herbal Flea & Tick Spot On cheapest?
At Treat Play Love, for $10.00, 33% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
