Is the Eastland Baldwin loafer actually waterproof?

Yes. The leather upper is listed as waterproof, so light rain and wet sidewalks should not soak through. The seams and sole are not described as fully sealed, so avoid standing in deep water.

How does the sizing run?

It is listed in US women's sizes 6 to 10 in half sizes, in normal width. There is no wide width listed, so shoppers between sizes or with wide feet should size up or try before buying.

How much heel and platform does it have?

Both the heel and the platform are 1 inch, so the shoe sits level with a small lift. That keeps the low-heel feel while adding a bit of height.

What is the footbed made of?

The insole combines EVA, foam, polyurethane and cork. That mix is meant to cushion and absorb shock, and cork adds some mold-to-the-foot support.

Is $81.98 a good price for the Baldwin?

Only one store lists it new at $81.98 as of November 7, 2026, so there is no competing new price to compare. Check the price history to see whether it has sold lower.

What colors does it come in?

Brown and beige. No other colorways are listed.
