Is the Eastland Syracuse good for all-day standing?

Yes. The removable cushioned insole, padded collar and flexible Opanka sole are built for long wear. The 1¾-inch heel stays low enough for extended standing.

Does it need breaking in?

Eastland says no. The hand-sewn Opanka stitch-to-sole construction joins the upper to the outsole directly, so the shoe flexes from the first wear.

Can I use my own orthotics in it?

Yes. The cushioned insole is removable, leaving room for a thin orthotic. Very thick inserts may make the fit tight across the instep.

How does the sizing run?

It runs true to size for most wearers. If your heel slips, tighten the buckle strap or consider a half size down.
