Is the Eastland Raina Loafer actually waterproof?

Yes. Eastland lists the upper as waterproof, so it handles rain and wet pavement. It is not a rubber boot, so deep puddles can still get in over the top.

How does the Raina fit compared with other loafers?

It comes in normal width only and sizes 6 to 11 in half steps. The laces let you tighten the fit, but shoppers with wide feet should size up or look elsewhere.

What is the heel and platform height?

The heel is 1 inch and the platform is 0.25 inch. That is a low heel, closer to a flat than a dress shoe.
