Is 30 inches too tall for a coffee table?

Standard coffee tables sit around 16 to 18 inches. At 30 inches this is dining height, so it pairs with tall sofas or bar stools rather than low couches.

How big is the table?

It measures 60 inches long, 39.38 inches wide and 30 inches tall, with a 19.69-inch depth.

Our take on the Ebern Designs 39.38'' W Oval Single Coffee Table

A large oval coffee table from Ebern Designs, 60 inches long and 39.38 inches wide, built from reclaimed wood, clear tempered glass and a powder-coated iron frame. It stands 30 inches tall, which is dining height rather than standard coffee table height, so it works best beside tall sofas or as a casual eating surface. The listing also mentions nesting and lift-top features, though the block-leg base and fixed oval top suggest you should confirm those before buying. At $99.99 at eBay as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price we have, so there is no recent range to compare it against.
