Is the Heald recliner worth it at $289.99?

At $289.99 at Wayfair as of November 6, 2026, it is a low-cost way to get recline, swivel and rock in one chair. Expect budget-level build and fabric that needs care.

How much space does it need?

It is about 41 inches wide, 41 inches tall and 40 inches deep. Leave several inches behind it so the back can recline without hitting a wall.

What is it upholstered in?

It comes in chenille and velvet fabric options, including the white chenille shown. Both are soft but the light colors stain easily.

Does it swivel and rock as well as recline?

Yes. The base swivels and rocks, and the back reclines. It has no lift or zero-gravity function.

Is it good for a nursery?

The rocking and swivel motion suits nursery use, but the white fabric and 41-inch width may not fit small rooms.

When is the price lowest?

Only one store lists it new, so discounts are rare. Watch Wayfair around major sales for the best chance at a lower price.
