Our take on the Ebern Designs 6 Seat U-Shaped Sectional Sofa 105" Wide with Double Chaises

The Ebern Designs 6 Seat U-Shaped Sectional is a 105.9-inch-wide corduroy sofa with a U-shaped layout and double chaises, marketed for six seats though the spec sheet lists a seating capacity of 4. It is a soft, low-profile modern piece at 32.3 inches tall with a 41.3-inch depth, so it needs a large room. Its rating sits at 3.3 out of 5 from 118 ratings, a middling score that suggests buyers are split on it.

Questions and answers

Is this sofa worth it?
It is a budget-friendly way to get a very large U-shaped sectional with two chaises. Expect a soft, casual sit rather than firm support, and check the return policy before buying.
Does it really seat six?
The listing calls it a 6-seat sofa, but the spec sheet lists seating capacity as 4. The 105.9-inch width fits several adults, but the chaises take up seating room.
What is the upholstery?
The spec sheet says corduroy; the product highlights mention gray chenille body fabric. Confirm the fabric with the store before ordering, since the two differ in texture and care.
How big a room does it need?
At 105.9 inches wide and 41.3 inches deep, it needs a large living room. Leave clearance for walking around it and for reclining or lounging on the chaises.
Is assembly required?
Yes, a sectional this size ships in sections and needs assembly. Have two people available and check that doorways and stairs can fit the boxes.
When is it cheapest?
Sectionals like this usually drop during major holiday sales and clearance events. Track the price history on this page and buy when it falls below its recent range.
