Our take on the Ebern Designs Chousein 2-Person Hanging Egg Chair with Stand

The Ebern Designs Chousein is a two-person hanging egg chair with a steel stand and included cushions. Questions and answers

Is $249.99 a good price for this egg chair?

It is the only new price listed, $249.99 at Wayfair as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it against. Two-person egg chairs with a stand and cushions commonly sell for $200 to $400, which puts this in the lower-middle of that band.

Does it really hold two adults?

The listed capacity is 700 lb, which is enough for two average adults with room to spare. The seat is a hanging basket, so two people sit close together rather than side by side.

What is included in the box?

The listing includes the chair, the stand and cushions. Check the listing for whether the stand base needs anchoring or weights.

Can it stay outside in the rain?

The frame is built for outdoor use, but the cushions should be brought in or covered in wet weather. Leaving them out shortens their life.

How much floor space does the stand need?

A two-person egg chair stand is typically about 4 to 5 feet wide and deep. Measure your patio or deck before ordering, and leave clearance for the swing.

Where is the Ebern Designs Chousein 2-Person Hanging Egg Chair with Stand cheapest?

At Wayfair, for $249.99, as of our latest check.
