What size is the Gaten rug?

It measures 96 inches wide by 120 inches long, a standard 8-by-10-foot size.

Can the Gaten rug go outside or in a bathroom?

No. It is labeled indoor use only, and the wool and viscose blend should stay away from damp floors.

Vacuum with no beater bar or rotating brush. Blot spills right away, and use a professional cleaner for deep stains.

Our take on the Ebern Designs Gaten Hand Tufted Performance Rug

The Ebern Designs Gaten is a large 8-by-10-foot hand-tufted area rug in a wool, viscose and polyester blend with a 0.63-inch pile. It is indoor-only, not reversible, and has no non-slip backing, so it needs a pad. The best new price is $659.99 at Wayfair as of November 8, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no cheaper new option to compare against.
