Is the Kappello good for 8-hour workdays?

It is better suited to lighter use. The padding is on the firm side and tends to compress with full-day sitting, so heavy desk workers may want a chair with more cushioning.

Do the arms really flip up?

Yes. The armrests fold upward so the chair can slide under a desk, which is the main reason buyers pick this model over fixed-arm chairs.

What colors does it come in?

Black, gray, brown, pink and beige.

Is $99.99 a good price for it?

It is the only new price tracked, at $99.99 at Wayfair as of November 5, 2026. That is low for a padded high-back swivel chair, so it is a fair buy at that figure.

Does it have a mesh back?

No. The back is padded faux leather, so it holds less airflow than a mesh chair and can feel warm in a stuffy room.

How much weight does it hold?

Check the listing for the stated weight capacity before buying; budget chairs in this range typically rate around 250 lb.
