Is the Ecotric Lark good for a beginner?

Yes. The step-thru frame, pedal assist and throttle make it easy to start and stop in city traffic. The 7-speed drivetrain covers mild hills without much effort.

How far can it go on a charge?

The 36V 10Ah battery is small, so plan on short city trips rather than long rides. Range depends on how much you use the throttle and how hilly the route is.

Can I carry it upstairs?

It weighs 58 lb with the battery, which is heavy for most people to carry up stairs. Removing the battery first makes it somewhat easier.

Does it come with a throttle and pedal assist?

Yes. It has both pedal assist and an on-demand throttle, so you can pedal with help or ride on the motor alone.

Is $585 a good price for it?

That is the best new price among five stores as of November 8, 2026, and it is low for a name-brand city e-bike. Check the price history to see whether it has been lower.

What size rider does it fit?

It is a women's step-thru city bike with 26-inch wheels, built for adult riders. Check the frame size and standover height against your inseam before ordering.
