Our take on the Eddie Bauer Arden Stripe Cotton Sheet Set

The Eddie Bauer Arden Stripe sheet set is a 200 thread count cotton percale set in gray stripes, sold as four pieces for a full bed. Percale gives it a crisp, matte, cool-to-the-touch feel rather than a silky sateen finish. The fitted sheet is cut for mattresses up to 18 inches deep, so it suits thicker mattresses and toppers. At $46.77 at Home Depot as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of what this set has sold for recently.

Questions and answers

Is percale better than sateen for hot sleepers?
Percale is a plain weave that feels crisp and breathes well, so it suits hot sleepers. Sateen has a smoother, heavier feel and traps more warmth.
Will the fitted sheet fit a thick mattress?
Yes. The fitted sheet is made for mattresses up to 18 inches deep, which covers most pillow-top and topper setups.
Does it soften after washing?
Yes. Cotton percale softens over the first few washes, though it stays crisp rather than silky.
What comes in the four-piece set?
You get a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases in the full size.
Is $46.77 a good price?
It is at the low end of the set's recent range across the six stores that carry it, so it is a fair buy at that price.
Does it wrinkle?
Yes. Percale wrinkles easily, so smooth it out of the dryer or iron it if you want a pressed look.
Where is the Eddie Bauer Arden Stripe Cotton Sheet Set cheapest?
At Home Depot, for $46.77, 33% under what the other stores charge, as of our latest check.
