Our take on the Edifier W820NB Plus ANC Over-Ear Headphones

The Edifier W820NB Plus is an over-ear Bluetooth headset with active noise canceling, a built-in microphone and a 40.6 mm dynamic driver. Its headline figure is battery life: up to 88 hours with ANC off, far more than most rivals at this price. The best new price is $34.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, with 4 stores listing it new — a low point for a headset that usually sells well above that.

Questions and answers

Is the Edifier W820NB Plus worth it?
At $34.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to get ANC and over-ear comfort. If you need strong noise canceling for flights, spend more.
How long does the battery really last?
Edifier rates it at up to 88 hours with ANC off. With ANC on, expect roughly half that, still several days of normal use.
Does it work for calls and gaming?
It has a built-in microphone for calls. For gaming, Bluetooth adds latency, so wired or a low-latency mode is better.
Is it over-ear or on-ear?
It is over-ear, with cups that surround the ear. Some listings label it on-ear, but the design is full-size over-ear.
When is it cheapest?
Budget Edifier models drop around Black Friday and back-to-school sales. The $34.99 eBay price as of November 4, 2026 is already near the floor.
