Our take on the Edx Heated Mattress Pad Dual Control Queen Size

The Edx Heated Mattress Pad is a quilted polyester electric pad with dual-zone controls, so each side of the bed gets its own heat setting. It comes in Twin, Full, Queen and King, and is ETL certified. It is aimed at couples who want different warmth levels. It is a basic, budget-tier heated pad rather than a smart or app-connected one.

Questions and answers

Is the Edx heated mattress pad worth it?
It is a reasonable budget pick if you mainly want split warmth control for two people. If you want breathability, auto shut-off timers or app control, spend more on a name-brand pad.
How does dual control work on a Queen?
The Queen has two zones, left and right, each with its own controller and heat setting. A couple can run one side warm and the other cool or off.
Can I wash it in a machine?
The care instructions say air dry, and heated pads with wiring generally should not go in a dryer. Spot clean and air dry; check the tag before any machine wash.
Does it fit deep mattresses?
It is a fitted-style pad with corner straps, so it sits on top of the mattress rather than wrapping it. It works best on standard-depth mattresses; very thick pillow-tops may stretch the straps.
What sizes are available?
Twin, Full, Queen and King. The King measures about 78 by 80 inches. Dual-zone control matters most on Queen and King.
When is the price lowest?
Heated bedding tends to drop in late fall and around Black Friday, and again in late winter clearance. Ask our agent to compare current store prices and the price history.
