Questions and answers

Is this a mattress or a topper?
It is a floor futon pad meant to be slept on directly, not a topper for an existing mattress. At 4 inches thick it adds cushioning over a hard floor.
Can it be used on a bed frame?
It can, but it is designed for floor use and folds for storage. On a frame it works best as a thin temporary layer.
What comes in the box?
The futon pad, a dust cover, two straps, and a carry bag.
How do I clean it?
The microfiber cover is the cleanable part; spot clean it and air the foam core. Do not machine wash the foam.
Is $44.99 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, at Walmart as of November 7, 2026. For a 4-inch twin floor futon with a bag and cover, that is a low entry price.
Where is the EDX Japanese Floor Futon Mattress Toppers, Foldable Tatami Mat, Thick Sleeping Mattress Pad with Storage Bag & Dust Cover, Black, Twin cheapest?
