Does the EGO LV5000 come with a battery?

No. It is tool only and ships with the vacuum tube, blower tube, tapered nozzle, 40L leaf bag and shoulder strap. You need a separate EGO 56V ARC Lithium battery and charger.

How long does it run on one charge?

EGO rates it at up to 90 minutes on low with the recommended 6.0Ah battery. Expect much shorter runtime in vacuum and high-speed blower modes.

Is it worth it over a separate blower and vacuum?

It saves space and money if you already own EGO batteries, and the 16:1 mulching is a real advantage. If you mostly blow rather than vacuum, a dedicated blower is lighter and stronger.

How much does it mulch down?

The six-blade metal impeller mulches at a 16:1 ratio, so about 16 bags of loose leaves become one bag of shreddings.

Is it good for wet leaves?

Yes, the metal-tipped wide intake handles damp leaves better than plastic intakes, though heavy wet loads still slow it and fill the bag faster.
