Our take on the Element Mohave Backpack

The Element Mohave is a 25-liter backpack from the skate brand Element, styled after a military rucksack with a single army-green colorway. It suits daily carry, school and short trips rather than heavy hauling. At $69.99 at ShopSimon as of November 5, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Pros
  • 25 liters fits books, a jacket and a laptop
  • Military rucksack styling with a single army color
  • Element is an established skate brand
  • Simple layout with fewer straps and pockets to snag
Cons
  • No padded laptop sleeve is confirmed
  • 25 liters is small for travel or gym gear
  • One colorway only
  • Only one store lists it new, so price competition is thin

Questions and answers

Is 25 liters enough for a laptop and books?
Yes for a laptop up to about 15 inches plus a few books, but the Mohave is not sold as a dedicated laptop bag, so check for a padded sleeve before buying.
Is the Mohave good for travel?
It works as a personal item or a one-night bag. At 25 liters it is too small for a multi-day trip with clothes and shoes.
What does the military style mean here?
It refers to the rucksack shape and army-green color, not to surplus military construction. Expect a canvas-style skate bag, not a tactical pack.
Is $69.99 a good price?
Only one store, ShopSimon, lists it new at $69.99 as of November 5, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to compare. Check Element's own site for a sale before buying.
Does it come in other colors?
The listing shows only the army option. Element has offered other Mohave colorways in the past, but this page lists just the one.
Where is the Element Mohave Backpack cheapest?
At ShopSimon, for $69.99, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Element Mohave Backpack?
2 stores we checked sell it, including ShopSimon, Lyst.
