Is the Elite Gourmet EGR2722A worth it?

Yes if you cook for one to four people and want a cheap, compact griddle. If you regularly cook for a crowd, a larger model with a drip tray is a better fit.

The adjustable thermostat goes up to 425°F, which is enough for pancakes, eggs, bacon and burgers. Let it preheat for a few minutes before cooking.

How big is the cooking surface?

It is 90 square inches, roughly 16.5 by 8.6 inches. That fits about four to six pancakes or four burger patties.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

No. Wash the ceramic non-stick surface by hand with warm soapy water to keep the coating intact.

When is the best time to buy?

At $19.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it is already near the bottom of its usual range. Watch for holiday sales if you are not in a hurry.
