Is the Presto 07061 griddle worth it?

For the price it is a solid family-size griddle. At $55.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026, it costs less than many 22-inch griddles and gives you a ceramic PFAS-free surface and automatic heat control.

How is it different from the Presto 07061 without removable handles?

The cooking surface and 1500-watt heating are the same. The removable handles are the difference: they let this version fit in a dishwasher or a tight cabinet.

What comes in the box?

The griddle, the Control Master heat control and a drip tray. The removable handles are included and attach to the base.

Can I put the whole griddle in the dishwasher?

No. Only the removable handles and drip tray should go in the dishwasher. The base with the heating element must be wiped clean by hand.

Does it need a special outlet?

No. It runs on 120 V and draws 1500 watts, so a standard US kitchen outlet works. Avoid running it on the same circuit as another high-wattage appliance.

Griddles like this tend to dip around back-to-school and holiday sales. The current $55.99 at eBay as of November 4, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range.
